Memorial Weekend Bike Marathon

Fr. Ray Stays
Fr. Raymond Holmes has been reappointed Parochial Vicar of Corpus Christi Church for a term of six years, effective June 15, 2002.



Victorian Tea
Saturday, May 18 from noon to 2 p.m. at Neiman Marcus' Rotunda Room at the Garden State Plaza.
Menu includes scones with Devonshire cream and lemon curd, miniature chicken salad profitteroles, finger sandwiches, hand-dipped chocolate covered strawberries and assorted pastries --- accompanied by a custom blend of John Harney teas.  A brief talk about "The Traditional Victorian Tea; Etiquette, Food and Customs of a Bygone Era" was presented by Ms. Kim Hendrickson. HHFD held it's annual inspection at the Masonic Lodge at 200 Division Avenue on Saturday,

Plant Sale/Flea Market
St. John the Divine held its Annual Plant Sale/Flea Market on sunny May 4, 2002. Top quality nursery grown plants and a large selection of hanging pots were for sale. Ecumenical Blessing of Palms
On Saturday March 23, the churches in Hasbrouck Heights gathered on Corpus Christi's lawn at 4:40 p.m. for a short service, blessing of the palm, and procession. [Photos]

Rainbow Fund Appeal
The Hasbrouck Heights Kiwanis Club has sent a town-wide appeal via the Shopper Newspaper. This program will allow developmentally disabled youngsters from our community to attend a six week Rainbow Summer's Day Program at Ramapo College.  To date, six youngsters have been identified as being interested in attending this program.  The cost for each child is $2,580.  You can make a difference for these kids with your generous contribution of $5, $10 or more. Please make checks payable to: Kiwanis/Rainbow Fund and send to: Dr. B. Eglow, 219 Boulevard, HH.



English as a Second Language
A spring semester of Adult ESL Classes was an opportunity to learn English in relaxed setting

Lion's/Kiwanis 37th Annual Golf Outing

Annual Kiwanis Rainbow Fund
In keeping with the aim of the Kiwanis International, "Serving the Children of the World" the Hasbrouck Heights Club will soon be sending out appeal letters for the Annual Kiwanis Rainbow Fund. This unique program will allow developmentally disabled youngsters from our community to attend a six week Rainbow Summers Day Program at Ramapo College. To date we have six youngsters who have been identified as being interested in attending this program. The cost for each child is $2580.00. Rau-Fitzgerald 5K Memorial Run
The Terlemezian One Mile Run/Walk
Sunday April 28  at HHHS (Paterson & Boulevard). 5K starts at 9:30 a.m. Run/Walk starts at 10:30.
"T" shirts for first 80 entries.  5k $12 before April 1. Run $
10. Course: water station at 2d mile, splits at 1st, 2d and 3d mile -- a few gradual hills. Sponsored by HHEA


Corpus Christi Boys Basketball

The Kiwanis Club of Hasbrouck Heights invites you to join in an evening of laughter and fun at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell. The off-Broadway hit is a warmhearted comedy about four caring, but conniving Italian-American grandparents. The production will be held on Friday, April 19th at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $18.00 each. "An Afternoon of Music"
